Why Join the PTA? 

Joining the Burning Tree PTA is a great way for parents, teachers and students to join together  to enhance curriculum and cultural education, support teachers and staff, build a stronger community and support student activities
Much of your $40 Membership in additional to the many other fundraising opportunities that are offered through BTPTA go a long way to provide:
  • Cultural Education – $12,000
    • Artist in Residence Program which included visits by grade of a poets, artist, illustrators and writer 
    • 3rd grade Medieval Banquet and Artist program
    • 2 Cultural Arts assemblies that included an amazing violinist and an inspirational speaker that was born with a congenital bone deficiency
  • Curriculum Enhancement - $11,000
    • Books and supplies for the Media Center
    • Reading and Language Arts materials for our Read Together program
    • Quaver Music program software
  • Teacher and Staff Support - $24,000
    • Staff Development support
    • Teachers Fund – classroom supplies 
    • Staff Appreciation (lunches, staff appreciation week support, year-end gifts)
  • Community Building - $8000
    • Sister School PTA cash donation
    • Landscaping around the school
    • New parent, International parent and SAC parent meetings
  • Student Activities - $15,700
    • 5th grade farewell
    • International Night
    • Lego League
    • Playground equipment
    • Field Day
  • Chrome Books (30 computers valued at $10,0000) to be used in the classrooms to enhance student’s learning.

How to Donate?

Burning Tree PTA raises money through our PTA membership drive, direct donations, Boosterthon, Flex Academies before and after school enrichment programs, Spring Auction and Cocktail party, Dine-outs and more.  

Burning Tree PTA is a 501(c)(3) organization therefore direct donations are tax deductible.  Direct Donations can be made directly through our new A to Z payment app or by check. Please make check payable to: Burning Tree PTA.  Your donation can be mailed to school to the attention of Deb Povinelli, VP of Fundraising.
